How Saudi Founder scores investment opportunities
Saudi Founder scores every opportunity on eight axes built from the venture's own data: financial performance, financial continuity, customers and market, operating efficiency, risk and stability, team and business model, investor return, and funding-ask efficiency. The result is a signal for each axis and an overall grade.
The eight axes
Financial performance
Revenue growth and margins, and whether performance improves over time.
Financial continuity
The venture's ability to meet its obligations and how long it can run on available cash.
Customers & market
The size of the customer base, repeat purchasing and dependence on a single customer or channel.
Operating efficiency
Operating cost relative to revenue, and how efficiently resources are used.
Risk & stability
Known risk factors, and regulatory and operational stability.
Team & business model
The founding team's experience and commitment, and how clearly the venture makes money.
Investor return
What the investor receives for the investment, whether equity or a share of profits.
Funding-ask efficiency
Whether the amount requested is justified and the use of funds is sensible for the venture's size.
How to read the result
- A signal per axis: green means the venture performs well on that dimension, amber flags points that need attention, red marks a clear weakness worth asking about.
- An overall grade: attractive, moderately attractive, or not attractive at this time.
- Weights and raw scores stay internal so they are not read out of context.
Where the data comes from
The score relies on what the founder provides in the company profile: monthly financials, customer data, team, the funding ask and the use of funds. Data is reviewed before publication, and ventures whose audited financial statements we have verified carry a dedicated mark.
Limits of the score
The score shortens screening and standardises comparison. It does not replace due diligence, is not an investment recommendation and does not guarantee any outcome. It depends on the accuracy of the data provided, for which the founder is responsible.
Saudi Founder is a matching and information platform. It does not fund ventures, does not receive or transfer investment money, and does not give investment recommendations. Each party makes its own decision and carries out its own due diligence.
Frequently asked questions
Can founders see their own score?
Yes. Founders see a readiness score so they know their strengths and gaps before the venture is presented to investors.
Why aren't weights and raw scores published?
A raw number without context is easy to misread. The per-axis signal and the overall grade give investors what they need to screen; details are discussed with the founder.
